What's In Her Bag with Blogger and Personal Stylist, Candace Read June 4, 2018 09:00

We are thrilled to feature one of our favorite fashion bloggers, Candace Read.  She's always on point, has great taste (refined, practical and pulls off a finished look), gorgeous (inside and out), and fun.  Her style is relatable, completely in touch with living life, wearing comfortable clothes and looking good while doing it.

I met Candace over a smoothie bowl at Zest at Easton Town Center. We chatted about her role at Wardrobe Therapy. She helps clients with personal shopping, wardrobe consulting, and closet restyling services. She brings her regular working girl style to her clients, and to readers of her blog. When not working or blogging, she's exploring Columbus with her husband.

Her bag reflects her life as a personal stylist, always on the go. Her items are functional and fun.

Candace typically carries a backpack or a satchel bag with a crossbody strap. Her  soft leather backpack shown is from GiGi New York.

She's a huge fan of Neutrogena's lip color stick. She also carries Pacifica underarm wipes.

Her personalized field notes were a gift from A&F Challenge, a party hosted by Abercrombie and Fitch, benefitting a different non-profit each year.

A fabric tape measurer, Tide to-go stick, iPhone and changer, cash (for meters), pins and business cards are essential to her work as a personal stylist.

She wears her Honey Rose & K vintage Italian compass pendant. Its symbolic to her since she just did a rebranding of her blog from "Live Love & Read" to "Candace Read". She's changing her direction to reflect a "more mature, refined and a million times more confident in who I am {perks of getting older}".

We are excited that Candace is taking her Honey Rose & K with her on this exciting journey of rebranding and a new direction.
