Born and raised in Ohio, Meredith is loyal to her Buckeye roots and is in love with the booming arts and fashion scene in Columbus. After attending college in the South, Piccin set out with the intent upon pursuing a career in fashion and worked for several Fortune 500 companies. It was later that Meredith discovered her true love, jewelry design.
In February of 2009 she started Honey Rose & K, a hobby turned into a business dream and lifestyle. Meredith enjoys the entire process of jewelry design from the thrill of the hunt, to creating the designs, to making the jewelry lovingly by hand in her Upper Arlington studio. Repurposing has been instilled in Meredith from the day she was born and raised in a refurbished barn home in Northern Ohio. Her parents reworked a barn into a dream home for over 30 years. Flea markets and thrift stores were a family affair and to this day, her parents still repurpose, create and thrift.
Meredith finds design inspiration in everything from traveling with family and friends, to art, photography, and of course her Grandmother’s jewels. After all, the company was named after her East coast Granny, Honey Rosenkranz.
Every day brings her a new opportunity to share the “Reuse, Repurpose, Reinvent” mantra that’s the heart of Honey Rose & K.
